If the [red box] is in the 2024 entry field. try to update it. If this does not work, you should delete the record.
To clear a W-2 Manually
- Under Federal
- Click Wages & Income a menu will appear.
- Select Job (W-2) [Add/Edit]
- If the W-2 that has the problem is listed - you can click the down arrow
- [Review]
- Try to update it
- If you're not successful
- Go [Back]
- When the initial screen comes up
- The W-2 in question will show up
- Select [Delete]
- Re-Enter the record.
