Actually got letter beginning of 2025 that federal withholding went down, actually get one every year. In the letter they always say "Federal tax withholding tables have changed and as a result your benefit has changed". The federal tax withheld has gone down every year. Looking back, have gotten similar letter for last several years "Federal Tax Withholding Change" and each year the withholding goes down. It has happen so slowly over the years, I never really noticed how big of percentage it has dropped.
