Probably because it's now 2025, and this issue STILL has not been rectified in TurboTax, after multiple years of posts about it (stretching back to 2021).
People are STILL experiencing this issue, and there are now multiple Community threads about it, with varying responses and stated results as to whether or not customers are supposed to mail or not mail the form, if it's being paid electronically (after taking our bank information) or if a check needs to be mailed... hence why I found this thread myself today.
It is still VERY unclear as to why the software tells us one thing, then turns around several screens later and tells us to do the exact opposite (as does the official State paperwork). Customers are simply looking for an update to the software and a clear-cut explanation from Intuit, one way or the other.
