You should not do anything until you receive the IRS notice. They have a copy of your W-2 forms so when they match them to what you reported on your tax return they may be able to correct what you reported. If they do this correctly, you may not have to amend your tax return. In this case, they may issue you the correct refund or have you pay in taxes.
If they don't make the necessary corrections, you will need to amend your tax return.
