Unfortunately the step-by-step doesn't cover my situation. I had withholding in 2024 for 2023, much of which came back as a refund in 2024. So the net amount should go to my schedule A. If you call it withholding in TT it assumes it came out of your paycheck during the tax year, which mine did not. And when filling out the tax refund section in step by step it only asks about payments made with extensions, with tax returns, etc. None is my situation so I keep guessing what to put in the fields to make the right result.
