You can enter the state refund amount in your federal return and the amounts will transfer over to your state return. To enter in TurboTax follow these steps:
- Sign in to TurboTax
- Select Wage & Income
- Select Other Common Income
- Click Start next to Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Return
