I have RMD's from 2 separate traditional IRA accounts. I took a larger distribution than required from one account to make up for taking a lesser than required amount from the other IRA, with the total withdrawal between the 2 accounts being more than required amount for the total RMD of the 2 accounts added together. When I enter it in Turbo tax, it is showing a shortage from the account I took the lower distribution from and asking if I did a makeup withdrawal within the correction window. The total required amount was withdrawn before December 31, 2024, there is no makeup withdrawal applicable and it keeps coming up as an error. I do not know how to correct this. Please help!
