Yes, you can file as a US resident in 2024 and report your Canadian income. If you pay tax to Canada on that income, you would need to claim a foreign tax credit paid to Canada. This is the menu path for claiming.

- Estimate and other taxes paid
- Foreign Tax Credit>start or revisit
You also have the option of filing as a dual-status citizen whereas you could exclude your Canadian income for US tax reporting purposes.
