I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and still unable to get past the Visual C++ issue. Spent three hours on the phone with an Intuit technician -- nice guy but he was stumped. No refund from Amazon purchase of the software. I urge Intuit to offer refunds if unable to get to a solution.
