If you have a refund you can apply part or all of it to next years Federal estimated taxes.
To apply refund to Federal Taxes
Select Tax Tools
- This is on the left sidebar
- You may have to minimize the Federal and State options
- You also may have to scroll down on that menu
- Once you can work on Tax Tools
- On the drop-down select Tools
- There will be 3 or 4 green boxes
- Select Topics Search
- Type the form number or a topic.
- Apply (Select Apply federal refund to next year) GO
- Continue through the questions.
- Get Your Refund Now or Apply It to Next Year's Taxes
- Select your option and continue the interview
