I use Brave for reasons of not sending any of my data voluntarily to anyone. However, even the shields were disabled I could not get Schwab 1099s into TT. So, for this and !only for this instance! I set Edge to be my default browser and was able to download data.
Immediately, I went back to Brave as default browser and will reboot after finishing this post.
