I don't think I made my point about w4s clear enough. I understand that Turbotax has a W4 calculation. It's appears to be the same one that's on the IRS web site. AND it's just as complicated for people who have MULTIPLE sources of encome every month. What I am lobbying for is for Turbotax to include the W4 document into the Turbotax software. Turbotax can gather ALL the information required for the W$(s) from the 1099s and W2s entered in the income section, populate the appropriate fields on the W4(s) and produce the results. This can be a option the same as it is an option to create the 1040-ES or state Estimated tax form.
Filling out a W4 for multiple income sources is more complicated than filling out my taxes and prone to error.
