I got same form 1099-nec, mine are royalties from unleashed mineral owner. They tried contacting me about payout when well reached maturity but I thought it was a scam. Once I learned it wasn’t, sent my ss# and received money but not the amount on the 1099-nec. Would I still fill this as 199-misc like previous post said?
