Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Not necessarily. The person who social security number is listed on the top of the Form 1095-A needs to enter the Form 1095-A information on their tax return. If someone has a Form 1095-A and you are listed on it, they can just report the insurance payments that apply to them and then you would have to report the amount applicable to you on your tax return. However, they could report it all on their tax return and then you would not have to enter anything from the Form 1095-A on your tax return.
If you mean that your husband has insurance that is not reported on a Form 1095-A, through their employer for instance, and you have insurance reported on a Form 1095-A, then you would need to enter the Form 1095-A information on your tax return.
