Form FTB 3554, New Employment Credit, is used to figure a credit for a qualified taxpayer that hires a qualified full-time employee and pays or incurs qualified wages attributable to work performed by that employee in a DGA and receives a TCR for that employee.
If that does not apply to you, revisit that section :
- Open your CA return
- Continue to the screen Take a look at California credits and taxes
- Scroll down to Business and investment credits
- Select New Employment Credit and answer No.
