My dad has stated he won't claim me, but I no longer have contact with my mom. This is my first year filing taxes as an adult, and I'd like to be completely separated from her in any financial records going forward, but I have no idea if she'll still try claiming me as a dependent anyway and screw me over somehow.
(TLDR: abusive mom will want to claim me for benefits and I don't want her to.)
