If your state taxes are showing PENDING they have been filed, but they have not been accepted by the state yet.

I'm not sure of what you mean by "Also I would like to know what status it says that I filed under when I try to track my refund."
If you've already submitted your taxes, which I think you have, you will not be able to make changes without amending your returns. You will have to wait until they are completely processed to make the changes.
