FMLA allows you to take leave, unpaid, no taxes. I think you took paid family leave, which is taxable. See What is paid family leave (PFL)? - TurboTax Support - Intuit. Disability is often 60% of regular pay and can be fully, partially or not taxable depending on who paid what part of the premiums.
