Which box of the Form 1099-G is the $12 payment in? If it's in box 2 (a state income tax refund), what year is in box 3?
If the $12 is in 1099-G box 2, and box 3 is 2023, then if you took the standard deduction on your 2023 federal tax return you do not have to report the 1099-G. Don't even enter it in TurboTax.
