If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), the IRS is holding refunds until mid-February. Most refunds will be available by March 3 if no issues arise.
You can check the refund status using the Where's My Refund? tool. Deposits are scheduled to start by February 22. No major changes have been announced by the IRS today
