Or it could be this.   Maybe your email address was never verified when you set up your account.   While you are in your Intuit Account Settings, go to "Sign In and Security" and see if the email address shown in your Intuit Account has ever been verified.   If it shows it is "not verified", you can verify it by clicking the link and following the instructions.  Then see if a link (or possibly a code) is emailed to that email address to verify it, and then you may have to log back in again.  Then your email address should be verified.
