1095-A
Hi,
I am using Turbo Tax for my 2024 Taxes. I am attempting to fill in columns B and C. These two columns are filled with zeros on our tax forms. This makes sense, because we didn't get any help paying our monthly premiums for the 2024 tax year. When we applied to the market place at the very end of 2023, we were told we didn't qualify for assistance with our monthly premiums. (My husband is on a different market place health insurance plan.) The software will not let me put zeros in these columns. I tried just leaving columns B and C blank as well. It will not allow that either. If I follow the instructions to the Healthcare.gov "tool" for finding the 2nd lowest silver plan cost, we end up with a sizable refund. It doesn't seem like this could be accurate... Is Turbo Tax malfunctioning? Do I not fill out these forms at all, even though our 1095-A forms say we have to?
