Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Found out that for
Form 1099-INT the person who should report it on their tax return is the individual whose social security number appears on the form. If it is a joint account & that person has already filed their taxes, the other person on same account can file it on their return. It is possible that the IRS may question why the person on form did not file it. They would only need to know who filed it.
