- You can also log in to your IRS account to see what the records show. View Your Account Information
- Contact Taxpayer Advocate Service before you file. Their number is 877-777-4778.
- You can also call the IRS Treasury Offset Program at 800-304-3107. You need somebody to investigate that debt that does not belong to you and should not be part of your account.
