Thank you, I do appreciate your time and effort.  However, I've already tried that.  As the screen shot below shows, TT does NOT allow you to adjust the cost basis to a negative number (which is what is needed since it will otherwise be reported as income).  All I could possibly do is on the prior page (where you must enter the sale cost and proceeds) make the cost of the NQSO  equal to the proceeds, which would inappropriately show that I got no proceeds from the sale when in fact I did (as shown on the W2).   Then I'd have to insert some note to the IRS explaining what I did and why. 

 

 Really, Turbotax used to handle this situation by automatically entering a negative number for each NQSO sale reported on a 1099-B since they duplicate the ordinary income reported on the W2.  The software code should go back to that approach.  I can't understand why you would eliminate this feature.
