“Did you buy every investment listed on your 1099‑B?” Yes or no

I don’t understand this question-  if my broker is doing the buying would this be considered a NO.  since I wasn’t actually doing the buying.  Or since he was buying for my portfolio on my behalf would it be answered YES.  THANK YOU!
