Hello,
I just submitted to e-file my first 1099-NEC. It states e-file processing, and I was wondering if this means for both the federal AND state, or just federal? The only answer I've seen is that NJ (my state) "supports quick books e-filing" but I am not using that software, just the turbo tax software for the taxes and now this one 1099 I need to create/file.
If this didn't e-file to NJ, do I need to print out something different and mail it? Appreciate the guidance!
