You don’t actually need to reset the whole category -- just edit the entries you’ve already made. To do this in TurboTax Deluxe Desktop:
- Open TurboTax
- Select FEDERAL TAXES in the banner
- Select Deductions & Credits
- On the How do you want to enter your deductions and credits? page, select I'll choose what I work on
- On the Your 2024 Deductions & Credits page, select Update to the right of Medical Expenses
- Proceed through the following pages, making any adjustments necessary
