The implication of my saying " I wonder if the IRS is ready to accept 2025 estimated tax payments yet? January 15, 2025 (the deadline for the 4th quarter 2024 estimated tax payment) has passed now. " is that after January 15, 2025, the IRS is presumably finished with its preparation for 2024 estimated tax payments and is ready to move on to its preparation for 2025 estimated tax payments, one task of which is making the 2025 estimated tax voucher forms available at IRS.gov. But, at last check, they aren't showing up there yet.
But, I did see that the IRS is now ready to accept online 2025 estimated tax payments. I say this because the 2025 tax year is a choice in its drop-down menu at the "Make a Payment" button.
