Get your taxes done using TurboTax
My advice would be to enter the total rental income directly in the Rental section of the return either by combing the amount and entering one 1099-MISC or omitting the 1099-MISC altogether and using the Other income not on a 1099-MISC.
Either way will allow you to prepare this rental property correctly. Keep the documents with your tax return.
- Open your TurboTax return
- Search > type rentals > Click the Jump to... link
- Edit beside the rental activity where you received two 1099-MISCs
- Select Update beside the Rental Income
- Continue to complete this property
