If you are getting an import error, I suggest you post it manually.
The state error may be because of the failed W-2 import.
Log into TurboTax.
- Under Federal
- Click Wages & Income a menu will appear.
- Click the down arrow on Wages & Salaries
- Select Wages & Salaries W-2
- We'll start with your W-2 select
- Work on my W-2
- Enter the employer ID from your W-2 - get this number from your W-2
- How would you like to add your W-2?
- At the bottom of the screen select [Type it in Myself]
- OK, let's review your form and fill in any missing info
- Enter your employers information.
- Let's review the rest
- Enter your W-2.
- Continue the interview.
