Yes, You can add a 1099 in TurboTax Online by following these steps.
You can speak to an agent, but you will need the TurboTax Live option. This will charge you an additional fee.
However, we should be able to make the software work for you.
Under Federal
- Select Wages & Income
- Scroll to Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto)
- Click Add/Edit
- You will see previously entered 1099s
- You can These entries directly
- Click [+ Add investments] if you want to post a new 1099
- There will be options to Download
- Select Enter a different way
- Click on the type of 1099 you have and click Continue
- On the next screen select Type it Myself
- You can now enter your information.
