Hi. I have a quick question and I hope I'm able to present it clearly. My wife and I got married last year and this is our first time filing together.
She is part owner of her own business (with 1 other person) and every year they drop off their taxes to an accountant together.
Because we are filing jointly - My question is: Does she need to complete her taxes simultaneously with her business partner, or can they file separately?
Any insight would be helpful as we are unsure.
