Do you have 2 1099-DIV forms that have identical amounts on them?
If so, you can increase one by $1, and decrease the other by $1.
- This will yield the same tax.
- The IRS would not have an issue because it is so small.
- And it will eliminate an error.
You would be able to file the return after this.
