1. You can write "APPLIED FOR" in the social security box on the paper form.
2. You must mail documentation that substantiates foreign/alien status and true identity for each individual. You can also get these documents verified by an acceptance agent if you can go to a location so that you do not have to mail the documents . 3. Mail Form W-7/W-7(SP), proof of identity documents and your income tax return to:
