Instead of this old thread which is less likely to be seen by the bulk of the forum, start a new thread dedicated to your issue with "New York state" in the title, and hopefully, someone familiar with the NY state return will see it. In that form, describe your issue in full, such as what happens when you are trying to get the NY state program into your desktop software. If you already have NJ as the state software included in your product, there is an extra $40 fee to add on the NY state program.
