Sadly, Spouse, this has been a problem for years. Intuit has refused to fix it. A simple fix for them, a major hassle for their users. If you have 26 mixed characters as a password, it is near impossible to type it in without error.
If you go back through this message thread, you will find a couple of messages that describe using a free utility, called AutoIT, to get around the problem. It's a bit of a task to download and install it, but with it you can create a tool that will permit you to copy paste the passwords. Also, you can use it again next year if you stick with TurboTax. I will NEVER understand why they refuse to fix this problem.
