I have a withdrawal from a non-qualified annuity in 2024. I am under 65. It is entering a $3,000 credit on line p-1 (Retirement Deduction) on the South Carolina SC-1040 form. That credit is only applicable for qualified retirement accounts. The 1099-R is showing code 4D in box 7. It should not have provided a retirement credit for that withdrawal. I believe this is a bug.
