"i opened the file in notepad and deleted the last line which was blank, SAVED as .CSV. This seems to have resolved the "Your import was unsuccessful" error. "
Thanks for this solution, i had to do the same thing after trying to edit the csv in excel. Once I opened it in notepad and saved, I was able to import the csv file into turbotax premier desktop. My guess is there is an issue with any empty line or new line character being saved when editing in excel
