If the non dependent is being claimed by the other parent this year, do I say that child lived with me still but I am not claiming ? It says non dependent, which is what I want, but I noticed there is a difference in my refund if I put that the child lived with me for more than half the year still vs if I put the child did not live with me. So the question I have is with the question “how much of the year did the non dependent child live with you” what is the correct way to answer that?
