I do not see any reason to use a different account. If both are now sole proprietors can use the same account and put in both a your business and your wife's. If I am wrong and you are now in a business that does not use Schedule C, then that would require TurboTax Business and a TurboTax Deluxe or TurboTax Self-Employed. The answer depends on exactly what you are now doing.
