Just last month, the IRS announced that they will be sending stimulus payments for people that were eligible and didn't claim it. So if you filed a 2021 tax return and didn't claim the credit, your payment will go out automatically if you are eligible to receive it.
If you didn't file a 2021 tax return, you have until April 15, 2025 to file and claim your credit. You can file a return even if you didn't have any income for 2021 and would have normally not been required to file a return. If you need to file your 2021 tax return, you will need to buy and download TurboTax Desktop software. You can only file the current tax year on TurboTax Online.
