To change you filing status in TurboTax:
- Open your return
- Go to your Personal Info and Continue
- Select your name and Edit
- Continue until you get to the About your household screen
- Select what your marital status was on December 31, 2024
- The program will ask the necessary questions depending on your situation to select the appropriate filing status is for you.
