- I have used TurboTax for years. Last year broke the camels back. I payed extra to have my MN state taxes E-filed, and it kept coming back as unaccepted. Twice I upgraded to get live assistant and still had to send in paper forms. To top it off, I never received a credit back for not being able to E-file This year I started out using TurboTax and ran into the same issue with it stating I couldn't file my MN return at this time. So I switched to the Green Side (another online tax prep company). The fee was about half the price of TurboTax, and Yesterday morning (01/27/25) I awoke to a message saying both my federal and MN state returns were accepted. I'm not sure I'll ever use TurboTax again!
