Get your taxes done using TurboTax
It depends. If you do not wish to install Rosetta you may wish to use a different device or method.
- TurboTax Online: If TurboTax for Mac isn’t working well on your Apple Silicon machine, you could try using the TurboTax Online version via a browser. This runs entirely in the cloud and doesn’t depend on the Mac’s architecture, so it's a potential workaround.
- Use a Virtual Machine or Parallels: Another workaround is to run Windows on your Mac using Parallels (or a similar tool) and use the Windows version of TurboTax. While this may be a little more complicated, it could give you access to the version of TurboTax you need without relying on Rosetta.
