Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Yes. You can enter several forms W-2 in the Free edition.
TurboTax Free Edition (and TurboTax Live Basic) are intended for taxpayers with very simple returns that can fit on the new 1040 form without any schedules. If we detect that your tax situation requires expanded coverage, we'll prompt you to upgrade to a version that supports the forms you need so we can maximize your tax deductions and ensure you file an accurate return. Depending on what your tax situation was last year, you might need to use new tax forms to claim the same deductions, credits, or forms of income.
Situations that are covered in the TurboTax Free Edition (assuming no added tax complexity):
-W-2 income
-Interest or dividends (1099-INT/1099-DIV) that don’t require filing a Schedule B
-IRS standard deduction
-Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
-Child Tax Credit (CTC)
-Student loan interest deduction
Situations that are not covered in the TurboTax Free Edition:
-Itemized deductions claimed on Schedule A
-Unemployment income reported on a 1099-G
-Business or 1099-NEC income
-Stock sales (including crypto investments)
-Rental property income
-Credits, deductions, and income reported on other forms or schedules
