Hello so I am a full-time student and I pay for my own college myself. And my dad was doing his taxes today, and they said that he had to claim me, but I used my 1098- t form. so I was just wondering how that would work would I still be able to get the money back if he claims me or would he get the money? or is there a separate credit for a parent whose child is in school?
