I have a deceased relative who died via a medical assisted death in Switzerland. He had an incurable disease. There were many costs, including physician visits, medicine and administrative costs, which were covered by one lump sum to the Swiss agency. I haven’t been able to find any specific information on this from the IRS as to whether this is tax deductible as a medical expense.
