Correct.
For tax year 2024, The Adjusted Gross Income limitation for a married couple with zero dependents is $25,511. However, to qualify for the earned income credit as a Married Filling Joint with no dependent you need to meet other conditions such as:
- Have earned income or investment income below the limit (Unearned income such as unemployment or Social Security Income, do not count toward the credit qualification)
- You need to be at least 25 years old, but less than 65 (For MFJ, just one of the spouses needs to meet the rule)
- Have a Valid Social Security Number issued on or before the due date of your tax return, including any filling extension
- Not file Form 2555 for Foreign Earned Income
- You need to be a U.S citizen/resident alien all year
- Have lived in the U.S for more than half of the year
- Not be claimed as a dependent on another tax return
Make sure that you meet all conditions to be eligible to claim the credit. You can also check the sources below for additional information.
