thank you! that helps, but I don't know where it is getting those numbers. It has my AGI correct, but the "Tentative tax" is not right, assuming it is based on the 1040 calculations, but there's also "other taxes" and those add up to an amount of "total tax" that is also not what the 1040 calculation tables says it should be. is there a way to see where it gets those numbers?
